PARITER. — share the burn, keep the memory. Every workout is a creator’s own video, played through their official player, approved by a person before it reaches anyone. Rooms are never recorded. Training content here is general education, not medical advice.

Guide · Starting out

How to stay consistent working out at home

Starting is easy; week four is where home training dies. The reasons are boring and fixable: no fixed time, no one expecting you, and a default session that is too long for a tired day. Here is the plain fix for each.

A slot, not an intention

'I will work out today' fails; 'Tuesday 07:15, twenty minutes' holds. Put the sessions on the calendar you already look at, repeating weekly, before the first one. Pariter writes to your real calendar and sends a reminder a day before and an hour before, which are the moments the decision is actually made.

Make the tired-day version shorter, not optional

The habit breaks on the day you are not up to thirty minutes, not on the day you are. Decide now that the tired-day version is ten minutes, pick the class in advance, and count it. A ten-minute session done is a training day; a thirty-minute session skipped is a missed week waiting to happen.

Have one person expecting you

Gyms work because someone sees you. At home nobody does, unless you arrange it. A room does that with one link: two people, same class, same second, cameras optional. Skipping when a friend is already in the room is much harder than skipping alone.

Nothing in a room is recorded. There is no recording feature.

Track days, not results

In the first three months the only number worth watching is sessions done. Pariter's progress page counts them and shows the streak; it does not track weight, and it will not tell you what your body should look like.

A missed week is a missed week, not a restart. Come back on the next scheduled slot as if nothing happened.

Questions

How many days a week is enough to build the habit?
Three fixed days holds for most people; two is fragile, five is ambitious in month one. The guide on how often to work out goes deeper.
Does the app remind me?
Yes. A scheduled session goes to your calendar with a reminder a day before and one about an hour before it starts.
Is this free?
Yes. Library, rooms, calendar and guided sessions are all free, with no card asked for anywhere.
